Meet Sherry Gaber, DC

A chiropractor since 1977, Dr. Gaber worked side by side with her chiropractor father and brother in Illinois. They all have been certified by the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association  (NUCCA), an honor bestowed on only 20 practitioners.

Dr. Gaber’s father, Dr. Marshall Dickholtz, Sr. received international recognition recently for his work on the impact of brain-stem chiropractic on autism, improvement of cardiovascular health, and chronic fatigue syndrome.

Since 1997, Sherry has been focusing on animals in the Santa Fe, NM area, and is one of 1,000 chiropractors certified by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association. The essence of her practice is on balancing the body while focusing on the upper cervical spine to free the brain so it can fully communicate with the entire body for better health.

A Testimonial from a Veterinarian

“Being a holistic veterinarian, I always look to find ways to improve my skills and ability to increase animals’ well being. Lead to Dr. Gaber by a friend, I had the opportunity to learn from her as well as witness the results of her work.

One little mixed breed dog stood out in particular. When coming in for treatment the little dog sat very subdued on his owner’s lap appearing to be in a lot of discomfort as well as showing significant neurologic symptoms. After a thorough exam, Dr. Gaber adjusted his occiput and atlas very gently. Immediately after the manipulations the dog shook his little body and proceeded to move around quite happily, as if a switch had turned on his light. Instant changes were appreciable in all animals she touched.

My experience as a student was equally significant. Dr. Gaber allowed me to palpate all her patients before and after their adjustments and explained the theory behind her work in great details. I came away with a greater understanding as well as increased ability to palpate misalignments of the body. I can highly recommend her approach to all those interested in improving an animal’s nervous system and their body function as a result. All in all, I had a most wonderful time with Dr. Gaber and her clients due to her incredible generosity, passion for helping others and openness for exchange.”
